Yep, it's my birthday. Sitting in a hotel in New Orleans. Gonna head out and see an advance screening of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and then head home. Siggraph was ok. The job fair was fairly depressing. I wasn't as much looking for a job as much a critiques on my portfolio which few companies were willing to give. One company which I can't remember the name of showed interest and said they'd call me. Which means I should probably post some of the art I showed them here. Also got some architectural freelance work.

I must say, despite the overall shoddiness of Siggraph this year, this is the first time I've actually felt like working on 3D in a long while. Gonna start on some new art when I get back home.

Oh yeah, I've lost 50 pounds too. So eat it.
